Jasmine Smith - Violin/Viola

Jasmine Smith is a passionate young violist with a mission to share her love of music around the world, performing in orchestral, chamber, and solo settings. Currently in her first year at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, Jasmine studies viola under Raquel Bastos.

In 2022, Jasmine achieved her AMusA through AMEB and had the opportunity to perform a concerto with the Young Conservatorium String Orchestra. She also took part in the Australian Youth Orchestra’s National Music Camp and Young Symphonists programs, further honing her skills. Additionally, she competed with her Young Conservatorium colleagues in the “Strike A Chord” Chamber Competition, where they won a Mixed Ensemble Prize. In 2023, Jasmine achieved her LMusA certification, marking another significant milestone in her musical journey.
