Kyle Brady - Viola
Gold Coast based viola player Kyle Brady realized his passion for the Viola performing with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra as a successful Prodigy Project candidate.
He has since performed with the Southern Cross Soloists, Orava Quartet, Ensemble Q, Australian Youth Orchestra, Queensland Youth Orchestra, participated in masterclasses with the Australian String Quartet and Sophie Rowell, Concertmaster of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and head of chamber music at the Australian National Academy of Music. Kyle continues to showcase his accomplished skills performing extensively throughout Queensland and New South Wales as a member of both the Jacaranda String Quartet and the Gold Coast Chamber Orchestra, performing at a wide array of concerts, events and weddings. He can be seen as a performer at the Morning Music and Chamber Ensemble concerts held at the Old Museum Building.
He is continuing to develop his skills as a Bachelor of Music candidate at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. Where he is guided by renowned teachers such as the legendary John Curro AM MBE and Senior Lecturer Graeme Jennings of the Australian World Orchestra and former member of the Arditti String Quartet.
Kyle is always trying to bring others together to experience the beauty and magical nature of the classical music world. He has a strong sense of community embarking on many regional tours, performing educational concerts spreading his passion and enthusiasm of music to wider audiences.
He is looking forward to upcoming performances with the Southern Cross Soloists at the Bangalow Music Festival.
In his spare time, Kyle can be found enjoying long walks listening to the Berlin
Philharmonic, reading a wide variety of books, playing tennis and enjoying a good coffee.
