Jenny Dalseno - Violin

Jenny Dalseno's musical journey began on the Gold Coast, where she first performed in local eisteddfods and actively participated in ensembles like the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra, Queensland Youth Symphony, and Australian Youth Orchestra. She pursued her Bachelor of Music at the University of Queensland under Patricia Pollett’s guidance, followed by a Master of Music, achieved on a full scholarship, at the University of Tasmania’s Conservatorium of Music.

Upon returning to the Gold Coast, Jenny joined the innovative ensemble DeepBlue, through which she has toured extensively across Australia and internationally, performing in Canada, Taiwan, Thailand, and India. She played a key role in choreographing and directing DeepBlue’s Who Are You show, a unique production blending music, dance, drama, visuals, and audience-interactive technology. Jenny also regularly performs with the Northern Rivers Symphony Orchestra and the Gold Coast Chamber Orchestra.

In her teaching, Jenny creates a nurturing environment that encourages students to explore the violin with creativity and joy, while maintaining a focus on technical development. She is passionate about inspiring young children to learn the violin in a way that balances creativity with challenge.
