Made in the USA with a sturdy heavy steel plate bonded to a thick non-slip sponge rubber base, it provides excellent floor grip while creating a secure cup for the spike to sit into. This weighted design gives noticeably more stability than lightweight rubber stops, making it especially popular for rehearsals, orchestral pits and performance settings where movement is the last thing you want.
