Il Cannone Direct & Focused violin strings are designed for players who want clarity, strength, and a highly responsive feel. Expanding the renowned Il Cannone range, this set offers a bright, silvery tone that helps the violin project with precision while maintaining richness and colour.

At the core of the set is a newly developed synthetic core combined with an advanced winding process. This construction allows the strings to produce a focused sound with enhanced clarity, while still offering a wide palette of tonal colours across the instrument.

These strings have been extensively tested by violinists around the world on both modern and historic instruments, including classic Italian violins. Players often note improved projection, stronger articulation, and greater tonal definition across all registers.

The E string is made from high-quality carbon steel for brilliance and stability. The A string features precision rolled aluminium winding, while the D and G strings are wound with pure silver, creating depth, clarity, and balance throughout the set.

Available as individual strings or full sets in Medium and Soloist tensions. Soloist Direct & Focused strings are marked with a red band.
